Semaines Européennes de la Communication : l’Europe - Enjeux Politiques et Culturels

A series of seminars, dedicated to Europe's cultural and political landscape and the role of media in shaping Europe's identity, was organized by Université Catholique de Lyon.

Intensive seminars took place in four cities: Strasburg, Luxemburg, Scy-Chazelles and Lyon.

I edition: 1-15 May 2004

II edition: 12-20 May 2006

A group of TEU students had an occasion to enrich their knowledge on historical, cultural and spiritual factors, key points in shaping modern European identity, as well as participate in discussions on future role of the EU in uniting the continent. The seminars comprises of numerous debates and meetings with representatives of the European Parliament, Council of Europe, media and journalism. The series of events was also an excellent occasion to exchange ideas and establish new, international contacts.
