We are changing our premises!

Tischner European University after 15 years in Westerplatte Street 11 and Filipa Street 25 is changing its location.

The change was first announced in the open letter of the rector of the university, prof. associate.dr. Anna Siewierska-Chmaj: (...) I have great pleasure to inform you that the next academic year Tischner European University will start in the new premises which will henceforth be located in the building at Jana Pawła II 39A.

The new premises of the university are located in a modern building in a special economic zone and close vicinity of the University of Technology and the University of Physical Education in Krakow. Nearby there are the Polish Aviation Museum and the Polish Airmen Park. As the authorities maintain, it is not only supposed to replace our previous location, but also enable the implementation of the ambitious development plans of TEU. Above all, however, the new, common location will provide students and post-graduate students with the best conditions for studying.

In addition to professionally equipped classes and lecture halls, students and post-graduate students will have at their disposal a cantine and a café, and in their free time they will be able to relax in the outdoor relaxation area. A large, spacious hall is to be a perfect place for meetings, conversations, establishing relationships and mutual inspiration. The surroundings of the parks will surely reduce city noise.

The new premises also facilitate the transport issues. The university building is located just 4 stops from the Mogilskie Roundabout (stop of the "Aviation Museum" or "AWF"), which will ensure efficient access from and to the center. At the university there are places for bicycles, and those commuting by cars will not have problems with parking spaces.

The building at Jana Pawła II 39a is fully adapted to the needs of the disabled. It is equipped with an easy driveway to the entrance door and two elevators. Lecture rooms are adequately illuminated and there are no thresholds. As the university rector says, the premises at Jana Pawła II 39a will allow the students and postgraduate students to spread their wings, will provide appropriate conditions for lecturers and will improve the work of the administration.
