TEU Founders

The European Certificate Centre (ECC) is the founder of TEU. ECC was created as a joint initiative on the part of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów (WSIiZ), Znak Publishers, Tertio Millenio Institute, and the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Leviatan. The role of ECC is to support the University and promote its status as an important educational institution both at home and abroad. ECC also fosters its financial and structural development; what merits special attention here is our cooperation with the University in Rzeszów, which focuses on three different spheres. One of them concerns IT and management: our University has had access to latest achievements in IT, which resulted in implementing a system called Uczelnia XP, a cutting-edge solution which facilitates organizing and monitoring the educational process and ensures effectiveness in managing students' affairs, at the same time making it possible to significantly cut down on expenses. Another sphere concerns contacts with universities abroad: we got the opportunity to develop relations with universities in Asia. As a result, in the near future students from the Far East countries will be able to study at our University. A third sphere of co-operation concerns grants and EU funding: in this respect, TEU and UITM place now among the most successful higher education institutions in Poland.
