International Relations

Apart from the core programme in International Relations, students shape their curricula individually, selecting specialisation profile.*

*) Students choose their specialisation profile after 3rd semester of studies. Specialisation will be open for the group of minimum 25 students.

 

International Business (in English)

The module provides students with professional expertise  in the most important aspects of doing business in the contemporary world.

Students learn to:

  • analyse and communicate financial information,
  • understand concepts and methods of economics, finance, marketing, management and information systems,
  • understand the relationship between business and economic, legal, political and social environment,
  • analyse and initiate decision-making in a global context.

 

Graduates will be able to work in:

  • Trade/financial departments in medium and large companies working in the international market
  • Small firms beginning export-import activity
  • Entities responsible fro the financial services of international corporations (e.g. outsourcing centers)
  • The media

  • Managing an Organization in the International Market
  • Foreign Trade
  • Managing International Finance
  • International Marketing
  • The Basics of Management Psychology

European Diplomacy and Administration

If you choose this course, you will gain knowledge and skills concerning:

  • effective functioning in the European  administration environment and achiving organizational aims through project
  • administration procedures and legislation rules which function in the European Union
  • processes, components and methods of project management on the basis of PRINCE2
  • rules of diplomatic protocols and clerical ethic

 

 

European Studies

If you choose this profile, you will gain knowledge and skills concerning:

  • functioning of the European Union
  • methods of negotiations (inside the EU and with a third party)
  • the basis of management
  • law regulations concerning key areas of EU functioning
