The faculty’s assets

  • intensive studies of two foreign languages – chosen Scandinavian (Norwegian or Swedish) and English, especially a business language,
  • gaining wide and useful knowledge about countries of the Scandinavian cultural area – knowing the Scandinavian popular culture necessary to a proper functioning in a company,
  • a practical form of classes – laboratories, exercises and seminars, active didactic methods and additional classes: supporting the career planning, basics of the critical thinking and law workshops,
  • gaining skills of collecting different types of information, their selection, analysis, proper reasoning and creating analytical products on this basis,
  • developing team work competences, especially important in both strictly philological (translating) and business (outsourcing centers) professions,
  • internships in translation companies, outsourcing centers, organizations and institutions.
