Honorary Board of Donors

The Honorary Board of Donors, established at the Tischner European University, gathers prominent representatives of the worlds of politics, culture, science and business.

Thanks to its effectiveness and creativity, the forum plays an important part in the debate about the role of business in the society. Moreover, it helps to understand how one can actively work towards the common good and the local community.

By financing scholarships, the Honorary Board of Donors gives young and the most talented students an opportunity to receive education at the highest level. At the same time, they make contribution to developing a new value of Polish education.

Members of the Honorary Board of Donors provide financial support for the Józef Tischner Scholarship Fund.

Prof. Władysław Bartoszewski, who was appointed as the Honorary President, serves at the same time as the Member of the Council of Patrons.

Mr. Wojciech Heydel, the Vice President of PKN Orlen S.A, holds position as the President of the Council of Donors.

The Honorary Board of Donors meets twice a year in order to accept new members and summarize its activities.  The last meeting took place on the 16^th of February 2008.

Tischner European University gratefully acknowledges the growing number of members of the Honorary Board of Donors.
